Liturgical ministries
We have training for Liturgical Ministers in the fall. Please call the office if you are a new volunteer so we can get you a manual before the training.
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion- Age 8th grade and older – Distributing the Eucharist with the congregation at Mass.
Lectors- Ministers of the Word proclaim Scripture at Mass after careful preparation through prayerful reflection.
Ushers- A Ministry of hospitality – Greet and welcome people at Church, take up collections, Usher for communion.
Lay Eucharistic Ministers to the Homebound- To bring the Holy Eucharist to the infirmed and the elderly in their homes or in the nursing home.
- It helps to keep them united with the parish.
