Using Alive in Christ (Our Sunday Visitor), our meetings introduce children to the foundations of the Catholic faith in engaging and exciting ways. We begin in the Church at 6:00pm with a large-group assembly where we pray together and learn about a Saint of the Month, a Virtue of the Month and a Little Latin. Children then work on grade -level religious instruction in a school classroom, and the evening concludes at 7:30pm. Chapters, crafts, and family material are sent home with the children each week. We gather 8 times throughout the year for Religious Education Masses.
New this year: Parent Fellowship Meetings. On the third Wednesday of each month, we invite parents to stay for their own time of relaxing fellowship, food & drinks, and a bit of education. We will enjoy building community, learning helpful tips for nurturing our family's faith, and tasting delicious "Catholic-inspired" treats.
Our children will be learning more about the Rosary this entire year. During our Opening Assembly each week, we will cover another Mystery of the Rosary--by the end of the year, we'll have learned about all 20 mysteries. Please use the following resources at home to help your children learn more about the Rosary and to pray the Rosary (or a decade) together as a family as often as you can.
